Lets see ... not much that I've heard. But this is from Ac52971:
There was an interview on E! Entertainment TV (BTW, love that channel, very good info for SW people who watch TV) with Samuel L. Jackson. So it was saying that Sam went up to Lucas and was like "please, I'll take anything.. I'll even be an extra!!" so George was like "I'll see, we don't really have anything for you." But as time progressed, the Character Mace Windu came up, and Sam got the part. He said he was so excited cause when they (the prop people) came up to him they were like okay pick one ... and do you know what he was getting to pick?? His very own lightsaber!!!! His face was so ecstatic! Imagine picking out your very own lightsaber!!

Has everyone seen the 2nd SW trailer?--Wasn't it great??? if you haven't seen it, then just watch any entertainment show and they will show it--even the local news down here aired it! :)--so when you do see it, try not to scream and scare everyone in the house like I did :)
Hope you like it...oh and, THE MOVIES ARE COMING OUT 2 DAYS EARLIER!!!! Some people would go "big whoop, 2 days" but for us, this is big! 2 days earlier, means 2 less days we have to wait--if that makes any sense :) So instead of Episode 1 coming out May 21st it's coming out May 19th--you know i think they did that cause ANH came out May 19th and ESB came out May 21st. so i think they did that on purpose. I seem to recall reading that for one of my essays, but I'm not sure. If I'm wrong someone tell me please :)

Book Reviews
Shadows of the Empire
I really liked this book. I thought it was well written, and very much like the characters. The only thing I didn't like was there was no Han, and Leia almost falls for an Alien--enough said. There are some scenes that I wouldn't want some younger reader reading. But overall I thought it was a very good book.

What if?
If Alderaan were still around, or even real for that matter, what would it look like through your eyes?

Wellz, Alderaan being a peaceful planet...I imagine it to look like earth since that's what it looked like in space before it was blown up. But like the nice parts of earth - not all those polluted cities and stuff:o) sooo...like the countryside would be full of trees and interesting animals and such and a beautiful blue sky... The cities I imagine would be...well..I always thought of them as looking kinda like the Emerald City from Wizard of Oz...only...well, not green! And not filled with munchkins or odd races like that:o) But like with tall clear buildingsand hover-crafts and people in robes walking about and trees and parks and..yeah...stuff:o
I know this one is pretty weird, but What if the Death Star had succeeded in destroying Yavin 4. Where do you think everyone would be at the time of Return of the Jedi?

Episode 1 action figures will be released around the first week in May. Then the rest of the characters will be released after the May 19 release of The Phantom Menace. The first action figures to be released (early May) will be the main characters like, Anakin, Darth Maul, 3PO, R2, Obi-Wan, Yoda, the Queen, etc. As for the original Star Wars line of figures, Hasbro(Kenner) will still release new versions of characters as well as never before produced characters.
And on another note for all the fans of the Star Wars action figures, whether they be from today or have collected for 20 years, there is a great book out now. It's called Star Wars: The Action Figure Archive. It has every figure made by Kenner from the original line to the new Power of the Force line. It has 184 pages of great pictures. It costs 29.95 for a retail price. Its a must have for any collector.
